I'm not sure who Michelle, Anne, Paul or Peggy are, but it looks like there was some kind of confusion. I ordered the equipment and put the charge on my credit card. In the evening, the folks at the hotel gave me this note.
We've heard independently from the folks at the SIGGRAPH conference (which was happening at the same time) that they didn't have a problem with FIAT LUX, and that they did not control access to A/V equipment.
Oh Well.
