Hi all,

I'm wondering is there a way to play with projected texture in Performer ?

I haven't find a way to genarate texture coordinates (s,t,r,q) as texgen()
does in GL ...

But maybe there is another way to do it , or maybe with Perf 1.2 ???

Thanks Marc

We don't directly support projected textures but it's
easy to mix the required GL code with Performer. I have a Performer demo
which uses both spotlights and shadows which I will eventually clean up and
ship sometime. In the future (possibly 1.3) we will directly support
projected lights and shadows.

I was wondering how you use projected textureing, I saw the demo on
the ONYX and I saw the screen shots in the brochure. I noticed that the
ONYX demo was very small, about 49K. Can you release the code for the demo
or does someone have code for Projected Texture, I was particularly interested
in the Spotlight screen shot, I would like to implement something like that I
my project.

THANKS

Hello all,

We have the need for generating landing light lobes on our aircrew trainers for
night landings. I've seen the 'projtex' demo and have taken a look at the
source. Does anyone know of documentation concerning texture projection and the
theory behind it? Has anyone attempted or been successful with aircraft landing
light lobes?

Thanks
